Patrik är en del av BMC – Vifit pro triathlon team och stöttas samtidigt av Hoka OneOne, Redbull, Ica Maxi Linköping och Bosholdt aps. Patrik genomförde i 2012 sitt första professionella lopp och har sedan dess bland annat vunnit fem Ironman lopp, slutat tvåa på EM i Frankfurt och debuterat med en åttonde plats på Hawaii i 2017.
